What is Sumaq?
In Quechua, the Inca Empire's language, Sumaq means beautiful, perfect, nice, pretty or noble. This is reflected in the name of Yma Sumac, the legendary Peruvian singer with an amazing four octave range, whose name means "beautiful flower" or "how beautiful".
